Chase Gardner

Undergraduate, University of Chicago

Chase is a rising fourth-year Environmental and Urban Studies major and Statistics minor. Always passionate about food security and agriculture, he’s currently working with Professor Elisabeth Moyer to evaluate climate models and better understand how climate change will impact agricultural yields. His past work includes developing crop planning infrastructure and conducting sales analysis for a local food hub in his hometown of Cincinnati, OH. On campus, Chase serves as University section editor for The Gate, UChicago’s undergraduate political review, and runs for the school’s varsity cross country and track teams. You can also find him wandering the aisles at the Sem Co-op (or, for now, dreaming about when its doors will reopen).
