I'm Kiela and I attend Lindblom Math and Science Academy as a junior. I like chemistry and Chinese, and in the future I hope to study medicine (not a doctor but more like a pharmaceutical career that I can also use my Chinese experience with).

John is currently an undergraduate at the Illinois Institute of Technology studying Computer Science. Prior to joining as a Research Assistant, John was also a Summer REU intern in 2014 and a Summer Scholar from 2012-2013. His past projects included a renewable portfolio standards webtool, which was designed to calculate the mandated amount of electricity that is to come from renewable sources, and city energy usage, which analyzed city data to determine what areas and buildings in Chicago used the most energy.
Currently, John is working for RDCEP as a research assistant on a city data validation project.

Mark currently works as a Research Associate at the Neuroscience Department of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Center for Functional Imaging). Austin Herrick is a third year undergraduate economics student at the University of Chicago. He is currently a Research Assistant at RDCEP developing potential strategies and models for large-scale utility data visualization. In addition to his work at RDCEP, Austin leads the Phoenix Sustainability Initiative and works to coordinate environmentally-minded projects in the University of Chicago community.

Devshi is a student at the University of Chicago who hopes to engage in a combined study of computer science and public policy during her undergraduate experience. She is interested in exploring the ways in which technology can be leveraged to better inform policy decisions, ultimately affecting social change. In addition to her work as a Research Assistant at RDCEP, she is involved in Mock Trial, ChoMUN, Student Government, and the Community Service Center.
