Location: Searle 240A
Ian Foster will be among the speakers at the first-ever TEDxCERN conference in Geneva, Switzerland. The Computation Institute will be hosting an HD webcast of the conference from 9am to 1pm in Searle 240A, with coffee, pastries and lunch. Ian is the third speaker in the session scheduled to start at 9:15am, so he should be on around 10am. Please join us for the rest of the event as well, which will feature talks by Nobel Laureate George Smoot, geneticist George Church, physicist Gian Giudice, animations, live music and much more.
More information about the event is available at the conference website. Due to the time difference, we will not be showing Session 1 in Searle, but you can watch a lower-quality stream on the TEDxCERN website if you are interested in that session.
