Election 2016: Do Americans Care About the Climate & Energy?

The next president will steer us on a path towards how we confront climate change, get and use energy, and protect ourselves from environmental harms for decades to come. Yet the policies that will shape that path are receiving little air time on the campaign trail, and the public voice is seldom heard. Leading political pollsters Mark Mellman (D) and Neil Newhouse (R) will explore what Americans are thinking and how their opinions align—or don't align—with the positions of the candidates.

Plus, don’t miss the chance to make your opinions part of the conversation with our live polling.

This event is hosted by the Energy Policy Institute at UChicago and is in partnership with the UChicago Institute of Politics.
