Surveying West Englewood for Neighborhood Investment

Today, we surveyed census tract 6706 in the West Englewood neighborhood again for the first time. Okay – it’s not really our first time, but we’re treating it as such, as we’ve improved our data collection based on last week’s experience. Because we dropped letters and keys last week, we didn’t drop any more this week. We did, however, survey about half of the census tract for graffiti, lawn condition, abandoned buildings, vacant lots, and walk frequency – which is no small task! The students had a great time and were thankful that we were able to take another whack at 6706 this week
