Ms. Copper's Environmental Science Class joined us for a field trip to the Grand Ridge Wind Farm. One of the blades was sitting outside the office and we got to walk up and touch it.
The technicians let us walk into the base of the turbine tower and see the internal control systems (as well as look all the way up).
